THIS WEEK’S BIBLE VERSE

 (BOYS) How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, O LORD; teach me your decrees.  Psalm 119: 9-12

(GIRLS) Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:  He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.  Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;                                                                                                         Psalm 37:4-7a

A HEADS UP     

We are almost finished with the first semester, so we will begin the review process in all their academic subjects in preparation for finals. 

The first semester’s Award Chapel will be on Friday – January 31, 2014 at 9:00. 

WHAT’S COMING UP

All-School Talent Show – Thursday (2/20/14).  Auditions will begin shortly for our school talent show.  This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase those special talents unique to each student.  Talents may include singing, dancing, piano, drums, violin or any musical instrument.  Students may also wish to show off their abilities in karate, dramatic or comedy skits, puppetry. . .the list is endless.  Please look for audition times.

Junior High Speech Meet – Friday (3/7/14).  Our school will host ACSI’s Junior High Speech Meet.  There are a wide variety of categories from which to select.  Practices will start the beginning of February.
